Manual Data Import via Data Pipeline
The Data Pipeline not only lets you define when Mercury imports which data from which system and for which period – it also allows you to manually import data for specific days, weeks, or months. This is especially useful if you connect a new system and want to import its past data into Mercury.
Important
A Data Connection must be in place and linked to a Data Pipeline. You can then trigger the manual import directly in the pipeline’s settings (Trigger Pipeline).
Please note: Avoid importing large periods at once – ideally no more than one month. This is not a limitation of Mercury but of the external API interfaces. Requesting too much data at once may cause APIs to abort, which leads to an incomplete import.
Some systems also let you select specific accounts. If you only need data from selected accounts, make sure to choose them in the dropdown list. This improves performance and speeds up availability.
All manually imported data will be included in the plans and Bridge Export (PIM) with the next Mercury update.
