Sometimes it can happen that the Conversion values imported from Adform are not displayed immediately or correctly in Mercury's Mediaplan. This is usually due to a time delay or an incomplete data delivery via the Adform API. Here's how you can check this and update the data.

Checking the Settings and Data Import

Before reporting an error, please perform the following check steps to ensure that the setup in Adform and Mercury is correct and that the data processing has worked.

Checking the Setup

  • Are the Adserver-Placement-IDs set correctly?
  • Are the Trackingpoints in Adform correctly configured?
  • Are the Post Click or Post View configurations set in the campaign scenario?
  • Are the Trackingpoints correctly assigned to the conversion types in the category in Mercury?
  • Were the tracking point-conversion assignments perhaps changed in the cyampaign?

Checking the Data Pipeline

  • Did the affected Adform Data Pipeline run correctly? (You check this in the Daten Integrationen.)

Manually Update Data

If the setup is correct and the pipeline has run, reloading the data via the pipeline can help resolve temporary discrepancies. Mercury automatically displays the newly imported data with the next update. If you want to reconcile the data faster in the plan after the import is complete, proceed as follows:

  1. As a recommendation, repeat the import via the Pipeline for the corresponding period up to two times for safety.
  2. After the completed Pipeline import, click the "Load AdServer Data" Button in the old Mediaplan of the affected campaign.
  3. Check whether the import is complete via the small Merry Help (to the right of the View Manager) in the new Mediaplan.
  4. Refresh the Mediaplan for safety and then check the values again.

If the values still do not match afterwards, please report the case to our support team with all necessary information (campaign, time period, expected values(If possible, no screenshots, but exports from Adform and, where applicable, Mercury via Excel, including assignable IDs)). Note that we can only partially influence the data delivery via the Adform API.
