After you have created your Reporting Presets in the Category Settings (learn more here), you can assign them to your Plan Items in the Media Plan. Mercury can only import realized data from technical systems with an assigned Preset.

Step-by-step guide to application

Follow these steps in your campaign:

  1. Open the campaign that contains the relevant Plan Items for which you want to import data.
  2. Ensure that the column for Reporting Presets is visible in the Media Plan table.
  3. Find the Plan Item for which you want to assign a Preset.
  4. Go to the Preset column of the line and double-click on the cell.
  5. A dropdown menu opens. Select the desired Reporting Preset from the list of available Presets.
    • Note: You will see all Presets that were created in the campaign's category or a higher-level category (through inheritance).
  6. The Preset automatically saves on the Plan Item.

Further tips for handling Presets

  • Copy and Paste: You can easily copy an assigned Preset by selecting the cell and pressing CTRL + C. Then select other cells in the same column and paste it using CTRL + V. This works similarly to Excel.
  • Changing: Double-click the cell again and select a different value from the list.
  • Removing: Select the cell and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  • Important Warning: You can only assign one Reporting Preset per Plan Item. If the wrong Preset is assigned (e.g., Adform, although the data should come from Facebook), Mercury may import incorrect or no data.
