Note: To work with margins in your Mercury media plan, your tenant must have this feature enabled. You also need the category permission "Edit purchase prices".

Margins on media costs are defined directly in the plan lines and serve as a percentage markup on the net purchase price.

1. Activate the relevant columns

To work with margins, the following columns are particularly relevant:

  • Price entry mode
  • FORECAST: Gross price (Purchasing)
  • Margin (%)
  • FORECAST: Gross price
  • FORECAST: Costs (e.g. N/N) (Purchasing)
  • FORECAST: Total margin (e.g. N/N)
  • FORECAST: Costs (e.g. N/N)

  • Margin (%): Enter the desired percentage (e.g. 10%). The calculation is performed automatically based on the selected price input mode.

  • FORECAST: Gross price:
    • Depending on the price input mode, enter either the purchase or the sales price here.
