Mercury's Inventory Management is divided into seven areas. Each area has its own purpose and supports you in efficiently structuring, planning, and managing your inventory:

  1. Pools:
    • Structure your Inventory
    • Define Access Rights
    • Record Non-Changeable Attributes
    • Assign Companies
  2. Inventories: Overview of all Inventory Items, e.g.,
    • Items that have been negotiated with Marketers (incl. buying conditions)
    • Bookable platform and marketer options
  3. Proposal Templates:Items you want to offer to customers.
    • Include Selling Conditions but are not yet briefing-specific
    • Serve as a template for Proposal creation
    • Can be created directly or from Inventory Items
  4. Proposals:Overview of all Proposals generated from Proposal Templates.
    • Are assigned to Campaigns as soon as they are actively offered
    • Detail view provides information, e.g., on Buy Items
    • Variants:
      • Transparent (1:1): Buy = Sell
      • 1:1 with Margin: Buy and Sell differ in conditions
      • Non-Transparent (1:N): Multiple Buy Lines behind one selling Proposal
  5. Buy Items:Overview of all Buy Lines.
    • Representation of your internal Buying Media Plan
    • Release and booking
    • Import and monitoring of realized data
    • Billing (Feature in development)
  6. Technical Components: Creation and management of components like AdServing or DSP Fees.
  7. Labels: Individual Labels for classification and filtering in Inventory Management.
