This article describes how to manage types of creatives.
Introduction
Clientsdo not always name types of creatives consistently. For example,publishers may name a medium rectangle “Content Ad”.
Typesof creatives make sure that creatives have a consistentcharacteristic for clear classification, facilitating marketcommunication and statistical evaluations.
Properties
Name
Each type of creatives must have aunique name in the system. Please adhere to the established namingstandards (e.g. IAB).
Format
Theformat, if indicated, defines the dimensions of this type ofcreatives. The dimensions will automatically be available forplanning as production information. If no format has been indicated,one can be selected when creating a creative.
Source
Thesource shows the origin of data. This field is filled inautomatically when you import data from external sources (e.g. Mediaservice Wasmuth). The field remains empty for types of creativescreated in Mercury Media.

Creating types ofcreatives
Clickthe arrow icon in the top navigation bar.
Select“Types of creatives” in the menu.
Click“Create new” to add a type of creative.
Editing types ofcreatives
Clickthe arrow icon in the top navigation bar.
Select“Types of creatives” in the menu.
Clickthe pen icon next to an existing type of creative to edit it.
Deleting types ofcreatives
Clickthe arrow icon in the top navigation bar.
Select“Types of creatives” in the menu.
Clickthe trash bin icon next to an existing type of creative to deleteit.
Important information
Modificationof existing types of creatives also affects existing types ofcreatives.
Typesof creatives from external sources (e.g. Mediaservice Wasmuth) cannotbe edited or deleted.
