What should be considered when assigning countries to Tax Components?

In order to use a Tax Component in a Plan Item, the country of the component must match the country of the assigned Publisher.

• When creating a Publisher in Mercury, it must be assigned to a country.
• When creating a Tax Component, it must also be assigned to a country.
• Assigning the Tax Component to the Plan Item via the Plan Item form is only possible if the country of the Publisher and the country of the Tax Component are identical.

Tip: For example, if you want to create a Tax Component for Austria (AT) but do not want to create a separate Publisher for AT, you can simply assign the Tax Component to the country "DE" as long as the Publisher of the Plan Item is also assigned to "DE".
