The Project is the central unit for your Media Planning activities in Mercury. Here's how to quickly and easily create a new Project.

Overview of the steps:

  • Navigate to the desired subcategory.
  • Click on the "+ Create Project" button.
  • Fill in the basic data.
  • Confirm with "Create Project".

Detailed Instructions:

  1. In Mercury, select the subcategory where you want to create your new Project.
  2. Ensure that you have the necessary rights to create Projects.
  3. Then click on the button: "+ Create Project".
  4. You will now see the form where you enter the basic data for your Project. The most important fields are:
    • Name: Title of the Project (mandatory field)
    • Runtime: The duration of the Project (mandatory field)
    • Description: Additional information such as target groups, deadlines, total budget, or special requirements
  5. Once you have entered all the important information, click on "Create Project" at the bottom left.

Important Note on Runtime: All Campaigns that you create later within this Project can only be created within the Runtime defined here.
