The Proposals menu serves as a central overview of all created Proposals and their detailed information. The main purpose is the transfer of sales-ready data into operational use.
Use and Processing of Proposals
Proposals are essential for the following steps:
- Linking with Campaigns: A Proposal only appears in the Proposal overview once it has been assigned to a Campaign. As soon as you add a Proposal to a Campaign, it is visible there.
The situation is different for Company- or Category Proposals: These are initially not assigned to a Campaign, but are available as an Inventory Item or in the Catalog Tab of various Campaigns. Only when they are taken over into the Campaign Plan do they appear in the Proposal overview. Beforehand, you can check in the Proposal Templates via the Book Icon which Pool (Company) or which Category the respective template is assigned to.
- Booking and Reporting: If a Proposal is transferred to a Campaign, it can be booked and confirmed from there in the Inventory Manager. Mercury ensures continuous synchronization between Inventory Management and Campaign. The Proposal information is also available to you in the Inventory Reporting Center for monitoring and reporting.
- Data Source: In Mercury, the Proposal is provided in Campaigns, as soon as it is transferred to the plan, as a Plan Line and when offered to other Pools (Company) as an Inventory Item. Note that a Proposal always corresponds to exactly one line.
