The Unmodifiable Attributes on the Proposal Template serve a clear purpose: they control the editability of the plan line when the final Proposal is transferred to the campaign. With these toggles, you define what the campaign manager is later allowed to change in the Media Plan and what is not.

Control of the Plan Line in the Media Plan

When a Proposal is transferred into a campaign, the settings of the Proposal Template become authoritative:

Control Principle

You use the checkboxes in the Proposal Template form to set pre-settings for the final Proposal. This saves time when creating the Proposal.

Impact on the Campaign

The active/deactivated setting of a checkbox in the Proposal Template is transferred to the Proposal and influences which metrics the campaign manager is allowed to edit later in the plan line.

Consequences of Activation in the Proposal Template

The checkbox setting has a direct consequence for later editing in the campaign:

  • Checkbox Activated: The corresponding metrics (e.g., Gross Price, Discounts, Targeting Description, Booking Volume, or Frequency Capping) are unmodifiable in the campaign plan line. The campaign manager cannot edit them.
  • Checkbox Deactivated (Standard): The metrics are freely editable in the campaign plan line. The campaign manager can adjust them as needed.

Note: The "Unmodifiable Attributes" on the Proposal Template have a different function than the identically named parameters on the Inventory Item (which control the Buy Item).
