In the Proposal Templates menu, you will find an overview of all created templates. The management of these templates is analogous to the management of Inventory Items, primarily via the Actions column.
Editing Proposal Templates
You can adjust the content of a Proposal Template in two ways:
- Directly in the Table: In many columns, you can directly edit the value by double-clicking the cell.
- In the Form: Click the Paper-with-Pencil Icon in the Actions column to open the template form and adjust all detailed information there.
Deleting and Restoring Proposal Templates (Softdelete)
The deletion of Proposal Templates is performed as a Softdelete. The template is only deactivated but remains in the database:
- Delete: Click the Trash Can Icon in the Actions column.
- Show Deleted Templates: Activate the toggle Show Deleted Proposal Templates next to the table to make the deactivated templates visible.
- Restore: For deleted templates, you will see two circular arrows instead of the Trash Can Icon. Click this Icon to restore and reactivate the Proposal Template.
Further Actions
The Actions column also offers a direct way to execute the following from the Proposal Template:
- Create a Proposal: Click the Plus-in-a-Circle Icon to directly generate a new, specific Proposal based on the Proposal Template.
- View Logfile: The List Symbol opens the Logfile menu. Here you can track who made what changes to the template and when.
Note: The management in the Inventories, Proposal Templates, Proposals, and Buy Items menus uses largely the same set of icons and logic (e.g., pagination, softdelete).
