You create new Inventory Items in the Inventory submenu of Inventory Management. The Item forms the basis for later Proposal Templates and Proposals.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the Inventory submenu in Inventory Management.
  2. Click the Add Item button in the top right. The Inventory Line Form opens.
  3. Company and Pool Preselection: The Company is fixedly defined in the top left (the Company is set in Inventory Management, not in the Inventory Line Form).
  4. In the Basic Datasection, fill in at least the following fields in the Proposal area:
    • Select the Inventory Pool (required field).
    • Select the Marketer (required field).
  5. Non-Changeable Parameters (Buy Item Control): Note the Non-Changeable Parametersarea in the Basic Data.

If you activate parameters here (e.g., booking volume, targeting, rates, discounts) (checkbox, standard), this means that these metrics must not be edited later in the Buy Item of the generated Proposal.

  6. Fill in the remaining form sections with the buying-relevant information:
    • Placement and Ad Format: Enter information such as Ad Carrier, Placement, and Ad Format.
    • Booking Details: Enter prices, volumes, forecast values (like CPM, Click Rate).
    • Discounts and Net Costs: Optionally record discounts or special costs.
  7. Finally, click Save to store the Item in the Inventory overview. Optionally, you can click Save and Duplicate to create a new, similar Item.
