To access Inventory Management in Mercury, a user needs at least the global User or Admin right from the overview below. Only users who possess one of these rights can later be added to a specific Pool.
Global Access Rights for Inventory Management
There are three independent global rights that determine the basic access (only the first two) and the permission level:
- Inventory Management (User)
- Inventory Management (Admin)
- Inventory Management (Labels Manager)
The detailed differences and associated permissions (e.g., Pool creation or Labels management) are explained in a separate article.
Pool-Specific Rights
After a user has been granted one of the global rights listed above, they can be assigned further detailed rights. These rights are set directly on the Inventory Pools and regulate whether a user may read and/or write.
More information on the rights for Inventory Pools can be found in the Knowledge Base section Inventory Pools.
