After a Pool is created, access for users must be configured immediately, as no one has access to the new Pool by default. You can only grant permissions to people who already have global access rights to Inventory Management.
Add Access Rights for Users
- Navigate to the Pools tab in Inventory Management.
- Find the desired Pool in the table and click Manage Access in the Actions column.
- Click the Add Permission button.
- Search for the desired User in the dropdown menu.
Important: You will only see users in this list who already have global access to the entire Inventory Management.
- Select the desired rights in the Permission field:
- Read: View-only rights.
- Write: Permission to create and edit content in this Pool.
- Click Add Permission to save the rights. The user will then appear in the permissions overview.
Change Access Rights
Changing rights is done by adding the user again with the new rights setup. The new setup overwrites the old permissions.
- Open the Pool's permissions overview by clicking Manage Access.
- Click Add Permission again.
- Select the User whose rights you want to change.
- In the Permission row, select the new rights setup (e.g., from *Read/Write* to *Read* only).
- Click Add Permission. The new rights are saved and overwrite the previous ones.
Revoke Access Rights
To completely revoke a user's permission for a Pool:
- Open the Pool's permissions overview via Manage Access.
- Find the user in the list.
- Click Revoke Permission in the Actions column on the right.
