Plan items that have successfully completed the approval process must generally be booked with the publisher. Mercury sends an Insertion Order by email to the publisher for this purpose.

Prerequisites for Booking

  • The plan item must have completed the approval process and show the status "externally approved".
  • A billing recipient must be stored in the category tree.

Information about the Insertion Order

The publisher receives an Insertion Order by email, which contains all selected line items. The person who triggered the Insertion Order is also included in Cc.

Instructions: Booking plan Items

To book the selected plan items and send the Insertion Order, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the plan items to be booked by activating the checkbox to the left of the plan item.
  2. Click on the button "Publisher".
  3. Select the option "Create Insertion Order" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Optionally, you can:
    • Enter a comment that should appear on the Insertion Order.
    • Edit the email by clicking on the pencil icon.
  5. Finally, click on "Send".
