This article describes how to configure and use KPI monitors so you can see all your critical planning metrics at a glance.

Introduction

KPI monitors are available in the Mercury Media planning interface. Each KPI monitor is an aggregate of a relevant indicator (sum or average).

KPI monitors are part of the view configuration and can be added and configured by the user as needed.

Using KPI monitors can help you keep an overview of critical metrics at a glance when planning or optimizing campaigns.

Important information

KPI monitors can also be saved as bookmarks. We recommend creating a bookmark for each campaign or combination of KPI monitors in campaigns you want to have available at any time.

The traffic light system

Use KPI monitors either to depict a certain value or as a traffic light system that indicates in the familiar colors red, yellow and red whether a certain minimum or maximum value has been reached.

If you configure a KPI monitor without defining targets or limits, the monitor will be displayed in a neutral color.

If you define a minimum value in the yellow field on the form, the monitor will be displayed in yellow when it is below that threshold. If you define a minimum value in the red field on the form, the monitor will be displayed in red when it is below that threshold.

If a defined “yellow” or “red” maximum value is exceeded, the monitor will be displayed in yellow or red, respectively.

Define a target value in the green field on the form to be able to use minimum or maximum values.

Invalid configurations cannot be saved.
